This Doesn't Seem Controversial To Me...

The argument against raising the age for purchasing cigarettes seems to be that there is no clear scientific proof that raising the age will help. Hmmm. Using this same rationale, I am wondering if there is a study that has concluded with sufficient scientific proof that jumping off a cliff is bad for your health? No?? Then what do we do with the age old adage: "If your friend told you to jump off a cliff, would you?" I'll tell you what I do. I tell my kids sometimes common sense trumps data!
